  • Develop personal skills to successfully advocate for change with active transportation staff, elected officials, and media

Students will participate in six (6) sessions that combine interactive virtual class sessions; guest speakers including infrastructure engineers, media professionals, and elected officials; and experiential learning assignments. Advocacy skills gained are also translatable to use for other issues of students’ interest.

The cost of the program is $210. Scholarships are available for students seeking financial assistance. Students will be selected based on academic and community leadership and other qualifications.
